A new column in The Daily Mail hints at tension between the Wales, the King and the Yorks

We don’t know about you all, but we’re excitedly counting down the days to Chrimbo! Nothing signifies the beauty of this time of year quite like the glow of Christmas street lights. Regent Street’s Spirit of Christmas angels are sparkling as well as the lights on Oxford Street. It’s almost time to tuck into Yorkshire pudding, Christmas crackers, presents and most of all: spending quality time with family, reminiscing on the year we’ve all had and hopefully putting aside past disagreements for the sake of unity. Which leads us to the reigning topic of this newsletter: A curious paragraph in Ephraim Hardcastle’s column in The Daily Mail today.
According to Hardcastle, King Charles has “done his best to bring Prince Andrew back into the family fold” but William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales aren’t sharing the same sentiment. The lack of consensus culminated at Princess Catherine’s annual Together at Christmas carol service last week. We can’t help but wonder if this is this why we didn’t see Princess Eugenie seated among the 22-strong family members despite making a point to attend in previous years…Are William and Catherine being unreasonable? Is the King (or those whispering in his ear) in the right to try and use the popularity of the Wales’s in an attempt to help his brother feel included? Let’s unpack our thoughts on this And dig into the details of this curiously timed story. Onto the Royal Tea!
