Hello Dear Readers,

The British Royal Family gets the lion’s share of scrutiny in the press but make no mistake, European Royal Houses also know how to provide the drama and Royal Tea. So for this newsletter, we’re going to discuss the latest drama out of the Royal House of Norway.

Today, the Crown Prince and Princess of Norway were on an engagement at Fabro Farm in Oslo. Their wide smiled bellied the trouble brewing underneath the surface: Pressure has been mounting over the past two months as to what to do about Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s 27 year old son, Marius Borg Høiby.

Just today, Marius’s parties at the private residence of his mother, the future Queen of Norway, have come to light via Norway reporting from Se og Hør. During the get-togethers with friends, it’s alleged that objects related to the Norway Crown have disappeared, as have credit cards issued by the Royal Court. This means that the expenses incurred were the responsibility of the Norwegian government. Not only that, a video has also been circulating in which Marius crashes a car into one of the walls of the Skaugum estate.
