Breaking News: Kate Will Attend French State Banquet!
A look back the Princess of Wales's diplomatic dressing at past State Banquets

Hello Dear Readers!
Well, we got our wish! Kensington Palace has officially confirmed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, will be attending tonight’s French State Banquet in honour of President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte. It’s such wonderful news to hear Catherine’s feeling well enough to join the evening’s festivities and we’re positively giddy at the thought of tiaras and glittering jewels making a comeback.
It’s been nearly two years since her last state dinner, so we’d happily settle for the Cambridge Lover’s Knot putting in an appearance again. It never disappoints, does it?

China - 20 October 2015
Catherine wore a red Jenny Packham gown with cap sleeps and a flowing skirt. Spain - 12 July 2017

She wore a custom Marchesa gown with a low-cut neckline, fluted cuffs, and a softly flared skirt that glided beautifully with every movement. One of those rare one-time wonders. She’s never worn it again, which is such a pity. We'd love to see more high-quality photos of it. The way it moved was pure magic. I wonder if she received grief for it being quite low-cut (for Kate).
