What "PR debacle"? New surveys undertaken in the wake of Kategate show the British Royal family endures
Hello Dear Readers! I hope everyone’s having a great start to the week. In my neck of the woods, Easter Hols is winding down, then it’s back to the real world. I predict Prince William and Princes Catherine are feeling similarly. It was only 22 March that the Princess of Wales stunned the world with her cancer diagnosis before she and her family took a powder to their Norfolk refuge, Anmer Hall.
Has it really been only fifteen days since Kate shared her news?
It feels like such a lifetime ago. I pray the Wales’s have enjoyed their time together as a family. And it’s my fervent wish when the children resume school next week, their privacy is respected. The news of their mother’s illness has been allowed to settled for a bit after all. As the Princes and Princess of Wales planned it, they got to shield their children in the immediate wake of her health news. We can expect to see Prince William resuming duties in the coming weeks and he has some great news to welcome him back: YouGov, Newsweek, Sky News and others released the results of exclusive surveys of thousands of people. The results show what we relayed to you Dear Readers a month ago: The world of TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube isn’t the real world. The general public who hasn’t bought into factions, teams or squads, saw all of the social media manufactured “controversy” and collectively shrugged. As Macbeth would say, the theories were tales, told by idiots, full of sound and fury — Signifying nothing. The Princess of Wales is now UK’s most popular royal
New YouGov polling taken from 2-3 April finds that the Princess of Wales is the most popular Royal in the UK.
